    All trolling aside, what are your thoughts on the rest of the winter? Do you think we see a decent stretch, or are we talking worst ever?

    I mean, I want to succeed....don't get me wrong. But I think it seems like I take this harder than I really do because I reference everything so much, etc. I know people joke about how I refer to the outlook a million times all winter, but the way I look at it is why bother to do all of that work if you aren't going reference it and grade it, etc.

    Yea, well it is what it is. It's not very pronounced and probably west-based.

    You are right about cold loading west, though. It's been a problem due to where the PV has been, not so much the PNA. PNA was an issue in December.

    Yea, I mean...its my passion for major snowfall that drives the effort, and while its disappointing when potential isn't realized, it doesn't negate the effort. I have still learned a great deal.

    Only thing missing this winter is snow IMBY, not counting today's nusiance. I'm done writing novels until that looks imminent.

    I know.....this is why I am so frustrated, but those are the risks. The payoff is worth it when things pan out.
