I’m up; it’s the old man’s 3 am curse: usually up for an hour before crashing again. Thank god I’m retired. Worried about the wheel on my blower and there’s nothing I can do but hope it holds up. Really worried about dealing with excessive amounts now; I’ve got the two stage backup but these kinds of snows are dangerous for folks like me.

Sorry but the NAM doesn’t make any sense to me. There’s no reason it should start noticeably worse and then go and do that. It seems like one of those classic NAM runs that has no chance of verifying but looks great through weenie goggles.

They used the B word.

WB 3K NAM does intensify as it gets to our latitude and annihilates the eastern shore through southern NE. Just does not dig enough southwest to give us the goods.

Yeah, from what I see through 12Z Mon from the 06Z NAM is that the positive snow depth change is MUCH lower than the 00Z NAM. Ruh roh folks. What did the EC and ECAIFS pick up at 00Z that the other guidance didn't? Something was captured upstream, because I fear we're seeing a trend.

Nam is better than last run . It wasn't tucked to start the run but it recovered. Jersey shore gets over 30 inches.
