Maybe we are seeing a pattern change at least for a brief period upcoming, the IO is clearing out and the RRM's for the most part shows the MJO going into the WH next week. Some of the RRMS are going into the IO.This could cause the NINO background to get taking out and we do get a reprieve finally for a short time, believe it when i see it,already see the models showing a phoon headed towards S/Japan in the long range, this hasnt worked out very well in this strong NINIO and the phoon goes into East China and builds a ridge off SE Japan and we warm again

The largest/highest heat dome on the entire planet is centered over Tennessee according to Ryan Hall.  We edged out the one over the Sahara Desert.

I see forecasts calling for a cool down after next Tuesday. The 12z Euro came on board after the 0z was wall to wall warmth.

It's the big Heat Dome that plagued the Southern Plains all Summer. Question is, will it finally dissolve, shift Eastward out into the Atlantic, become a Bermuda High, weaken then rebound etc.. The back Westward shift.is unlikely as the STJ should barrel into the SW.

Come Winter, if there's any semblance of this Feature, whether stll alive(low odds) or ressurrected, it could have quite an effect, especially if it becomes formidable then. IF it were to it would probably setup in the SW Atlantic due to the STJ forcing. Where out there would determine our Pattern Outcome; out by the Sargasso Sea would be great if you want Snow. Further West mild and probably wet.
