Honestly, it looks pretty typical to me. See if you can grab a screenshot of what you see on the below

This is correct. Wave two should bring in a surge of warmth in the upper levels.  Surface in Clarksville will remain below freezing I'd think.

Yeah, I’d assume so too. Currently 16° and holding strong. The wind chill has been fluctuating but that’s the only thing.

Not being mean, but I think I would be seeing a doctor.

Soon as I’m able, I will. It’s from the auto immunes. RA does this to me with major weather, but it usually isn’t this bad. Thank you for caring enough to urge me to go. You’re definitely right.

HRRR sees the break out near Clarksville and points west, but seems to want to fill precip. back in quickly as the evening wears on. I'm not sure it will fill back in as quickly as the HRRR thinks, but I'm 100% sure there is more coming when the second slug of moisture back in TX starts to swing though around daybreak tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing - can you show me a visual if you’re able? It’s ok if not.

Both reporting weather stations near me are now showing 27° and 29°respectively and both show freezing rain currently. Near 640 / 40 interchange in Knoxville. I would call it a light freezing drizzle. It briefly spiked to 35° earlier today on both then dropped back off to current temps.

One thing I did notice making that HRRR gif, is that it is trying to help erode the warm nose from downsloping:

Also the weird "fingers" aren't as apparent on how the HRRR initializes temps, but they are still there in its dewpoint rendering:

I looked at DPs on Wunderground's weather station map and I can't really see it except maybe in one place near Erwin.

Found the warm nose, but it's very odd. Fish Hatchery has a weather station and it sits about same elevation as other 2, I dont usually look at it cause way the ridges run it usually is the last of the 3 to pick it up...but here it is. You can see how the ridges form a dam so to speak in the topo as the River road meets the Skyway
