CPcantmeasuresnow
In Saratoga Springs today and tomorrow. They had WWA yesterday for 2-6 here today. I haven't seen a flake yet. They're suppose to get 5-8 here Friday but I'll already be gone and doubting we see any snow Friday or Sunday back in Orange County. Just can't win this month. Hope the Friday event doesn't for their sake. Looks like we're a hair too south in HV for significant Friday snow.
Juliancolton
Pouring snow right now, best of the winter probably. Picked up an inch in the last few minutes

I'm not expecting much with the Sunday event, maybe a few inches of deform dregs. The GFS ticking SE at 12z is a decent sign that the westward trend has hit its bounds imo

IrishRob17
At least 50% of the storm thread And its ironic that some that complain about banter are going on about snow days and wondering what specific other weather folks are saying. Its not 1999 anymore, just search for them yourself dammit!

gravitylover
I don't even want to go out to get the mail. This incoming storm has *shitty* timing. I'm supposed to dose up on that innards cleanser at 6pm Sunday for a colonoscopy at 7:30 Monday morning. I'm guessing I won't be in any shape to go out and shovel the plow pile at 6am right after I take the second dose

crossbowftw3
Looks like I may be on the fringes of this one—a nice advisory event(low end warning?) should still in play for me in Sullivan

A little aggressive for up here this early in the game. I'll gladly take it though. Our current snowpack is in serious need of a solid freshening. IrishRob17
I mean its the long range NAM but I'm sure we all don't mind what were are seeing so far on the 18Z, looking more tucked. The main thread is a mess, as is tradition, I just look for myself. Edit: Yea, it was more tucked for sure.

The main thread is a mess, as is tradition, I just look for myself. The NAM went from 0 inches for our area on the 6Z this morning to 15-18 inches 12 hours later on the 18Z. If the NAM trend continues I guess we should expect 30-36 inches on tomorrows 6Z. Personally I'd be overjoyed with 10-12, anything more would be appreciated but not expected.
IrishRob17
Nothing is set in stone but I like how its giving us some more wiggle room if it winds up further S and/or E. FWIW the 3K NAM dosn't look as good.

crossbowftw3
Wild swings on these runs. If I end up with a 6-8” caliber accumulation from this and widespread 1-2’+ starts just 50-60 miles southeast again as it was in January 2016, I’d be rather disappointed
IrishRob17
Not liking the 18z GFS for me, I've seen that movie before. I'm suffocating under subsidence while the NYC weenies are still debating snow days.
