GaWx
Welcome to met. autumn! Please post your September of 2025 observations as well as other current or recent conditions at any location. Unlike the last 2 years, we lucked out in August. We’ll see whether we luck out again this month compared to last year’s horrible Helene. If any moderator sees this, please pin this and unpin the August 2025 obs thread. @buckeyefan1
yotaman
Started the month with a low of 62 with northeast winds that made it feel like the 50's. Love it.
NorthHillsWx
High of only 77.2! Low of 53.0 this morning what a day
suzook
Beautiful day today. High of 85, low of 65. Nice breeze. I'm seeing a couple 90 degree days Thursday and Friday. Zero rain in sight, getting dry already around here.
GaWx
Beautifully comfy day today. Did another evening walk outside and hardly broke a sweat…on Labor Day!

NorthHillsWx Posted yesterday at 11:53 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:53 AM Low of 55 this morning. Warmup starts today through Saturday, does not look like we make it even through the first week of September with no 90s (I’m still taken aback that we made it through August without a 90 degree reading) but the good news is yet another fall like airmass moves in to start next week. What a freaking pattern!
suzook Posted yesterday at 01:16 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:16 PM Beautiful weather all weekend, and a nice couple of 90 degree days Fri and Saturday. Unfortunately for my neck of the woods we have only had 1.85" of rain since Aug 1st, and the last measurable rainfall was .08 on Auf 22nd. Things are getting dry. Next town over has had 4 inches of rain in the same timeframe.
WinstonSalemArlington Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM I haven’t cut the grass since mid August. Dry weather has its perks

Dry weather has its perks I actually enjoy lawn work, and green grass. But yes, no rain is a perk if its not your thing.

But the cooler temps aren’t killing yards like you’d expect after a 2-3 week break in rainfall during the summer
yotaman
Low of 63, high is current temp of 80. It has gotten very dry here lately. My maples are starting to change a bit as are others in the neighborhood.
marsman
Low of 55 at 6:45am, high of 87 at 4:45pm. I was able to keep the A/C off today, but it'll be on tomorrow. Leaves are coming off the trees, I'm sure the lack of precip is accelerating their demise.
suzook
82 and humid already at 11 am. Think we blow past the forecast high of 86. Hit 88 yesterday, with a forecast high of 84. Its definitely been a bit cooler in my area, but nothing like what it was supposed to be. I am hopeful the next cool blast Monday materializes for us.
