It definitely is .  When it's dry it goes and stays airborne more efficiently.  Add the excess wind to the equation. Some got knocked and tacked down last night in areas that got rain so that will help for today.

Although pollen, viruses, fungus, and mold generally thrive in moisture they all spread more efficiently in dry environments.

Yes, I agree. My seasonal allergies have been bad the last few weeks. Recent years have not been so bad for me.

Another tip for those with allergies is to always close up at night. Pollen can fuk you up all day but it's not until night that some plants release there pollen.   Over millions of years some plants figured out ultra violet sterilization was a problem. Amazing

SPC has a lot of central PA in a MRGL risk for tomorrow - meanwhile. MU has been touting a big time severe potential for several days now. He's expecting violent storms later tomorrow. (at least down this way)

Today and tomorrow will be warm and humid with highs well into the 70’s with some spots touching 80 degrees if we see enough sunshine. Rain chances to increase tomorrow and will last through Tuesday. Not a wash out but some beneficial rains look to be on the way. We should see some drying by Wednesday, but some shower chances look to continue.

Yes sir. We have rented out Greystone Public House - have friends flying in and driving in from all over the east coast all today (a few fly tmrw am so hope that is before the lines develop).

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered severe thunderstorms with damaging winds 60 mph or greater
and large hail exceeding 1 inch in diameter are possible this
afternoon and evening. An isolated weak, short-lived tornado is also
possible.

Rainfall of 0.5 to 1.0 inch is expected in many areas today, with
locally higher amounts possible in places that receive more than one
thunderstorm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Additional, significant, multi-day rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches
with locally higher amounts are forecast for the Sunday through
Tuesday period. The long duration rainfall will be initially
beneficial, but repeated rounds of heavy rain could produce localized
flooding particularly in urban and poor drainage areas.
