Can only hope EURO backs off from this solution tonight when more data has been ingested.

I think all of us are in for a snow to sleet/freezing rain event. Even up here in Caroline county, it could get ugly. I can't remember the last time we had 20 degrees and sleet or freezing rain. I hope the focus goes from snowstorm to life-threatening ice storm if the current trends continue. The arctic air after the storm is another big story.

I will leave the upper level analysis to people who know more about it, but the precip shield and mix line moved South at least 50 miles at 78h

It is still going to be more amplified than we would like it but it is an improvement.

NAM is out of range so take it with a grain of salt but it had a nice front end thump.

I just ordered a few non-electric portable heaters, so, expect this to trend back to more snow than ice, just doing my part.

The models are struggling with the foreign data sampled into it. Just needs another day to normalize it. We be good

And of course the 18Z GFS is pretty much all snow lol. Nobody knows what's gonna happen
