Why so quiet? Major ice storm for the poconos. And models showing colder solutions for front end mix for abe

I haven't been following it closely (since its rain at TTN, perhaps a few sleet or snow pellets at the start).  18Z NAM, though, would say its icy at ABE and snowy->icy at MPO.

What is your definition of a major ice storm for the Poconos? Warning criteria there is one-half inch or more of ice, which is not currently forecast.

It was at warning criteria, has since dropped to 1/4".

No way we reach our projected high of 47 today, it's 38 now and feels like it is dropping

The initial watch had 0.25 to 0.50 inches of ice, which is just barely to warning criteria. I see the advisory has now been upgraded to a warning for the Poconos but that looks to be more for impact given combination of ice and snow, as what is in the warning currently is under criteria.
