have been under the impression below average activity years for named storms usually favor SE hits? interesting times ahead this summer

Some say El Nino (if it develops) favors the Southeast Coast over the Central Gulf. The reasoning is those westerlies boot 'em away from the Central/Western Gulf. SE Coast could use some tropical rain, but hopefully not of the hurricane variety.

Thanks Raleigh for sharing. Agree with lower tropical cyclone counts. Hoping we are right; makes life less stressful at work.
