hmmm... really you should clear some of the snow away down to the grass to make sure you are not measuring grass (assuming you haven't done so already).

No grass there, that measurement was taken on a tree stump. The stump is flat and solid, about 12" diameter and has about 1" elevation above the grass. Btw, upto 1.5" now.

he said 2 inches in West Nantmeal - pretty sure he meant East.

1.8" for me near Pughtown in NW Chesco. Still had a couple small piles left from the Jan. 21 snow.

I did see a West Nantmeal on the NWS spotter page last night so maybe there is someone over there? Final tally here 2.3"...pic from this morning
