Not too shabby... best CG went NW of me up near the airport. Which is fine, cuz I was just finishing up some garden work and then kinda just stood outside during most of it ;)

You can gladly have all the damage we have around here, if you want 11 inches of rain in 36 hours, please by all means take it.

Yeah watching the news today now I know why I had to take so many detours through south jersey on top of the flooded roads we drove through. I had an Idea it was bad but not entire roads getting washed away in some cases.

As of 7PM this evening my total rainfall for this event is 5.38". Pretty impressive though surely not as impressive as other areas. My year-to-date total now stands at a wet 42.60". I love to explain these numbers to my friends and family in ways that seem much more impressive such as:

Since Saturday evening 4,024 gallons or 33,586 lbs of water has landed on the roof of my house! Since January 1st those numbers are 31,867 gallons and 265,943 lbs!! Amazingly my house is still standing! lol Now can anyone figure out the square footage of my roof???

To get some really impressive figures assume those amounts fell over just one acre of land. for 5.38" that equals 146,095 gallons or 1,219,218 lbs and for the 42.60" YTD that equals 1,156,772 gallons or 9,653,735 lbs. Amazing we are not crushed by the weight of water routinely suspended over our heads! ;)
