Tropopause_Fold Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 these cell phone videos just don't show it well enough...but those were some nasty storms. lots of hail reports across the cape too...none imby but a lot of wind...easily gusted to 40 mph. first video is sideways - cell phone holding FTL - and shows the beginning of that cell pushing in (was dark too). second video is about 4 or 5 min later and shows more toward the tail end. i think you get a better sense looking at the trees in the distance in that video. Ray's area FTL. lol. yeah relatively speaking it's been a "good" season for storms down here. i think MBY was one of the few spots that didn't get hail yesterday...there were reports all over the place. was nice to get some rain too.
