    Again, very hypothetical. It would be in the future. Just was having fun checking out some real estate today, nothing serious, I promise. It’s a five/ten years down the line when I have a stable income kind of thing. Don’t think it’s a super uncommon thing to scroll through real estate listings and dream a little, lol.

    The hypothetical plan in my head is that it would be a snow escape/weekend getaway condo and then a rental property whenever else. Maybe I happen to get better at skiing. Or I’ll just snow tube.

    I only got grazed by this last band and it was rather legit. Solid flake size, nice winds... probably will have added an extra tenth when it’s said and done. Definitely covered up the road again.

    That’s the one thing that’s funny about me looking at all these condos in ski towns: I hate skiing. I probably just need better lessons, but I can’t turn or stop to save my life. I’ve got good balance and can go down the hills themselves but the only way I can stop is wiping out. I blame my bad knees. Lame excuse for a young guy but swimming took a lot out of them.

    Was hoping this last tiny band might squeeze out a couple snowflakes. Looks like it’s sleet. Oh well - managed to start and end the event with frozen. Much better than the total disaster scenario. [emoji3059]

    yeah, per HRRR, 850s definitely have not recovered by the time that first band/stuff swings through, which is a shame cause it's fairly heavy.

    I was looking at Snowshoe since someone mentioned it was cheap earlier. Looking at Wisp it actually looks cheaper if I'm just looking for a condo to escape to for marginal events and then rent out the rest of the year. Hmmm...

    I think there was a post-storm model analysis thread that year. If the low doesn't end up shooting up the Bay, it would be really interesting to go back and see what happened/who the winners and losers were. Based on the current track, assuming I'm remembering right, the GEFS would actually get a fair bit of credit. HRRR too.

    Rapidly approaching 32. Seems like its more "freezing" rain than sleet at this point. Hoping for a surprise as the storm starts pulling away to top off the slushy mess that's about to happen.

    Still all snow as of 1:00. No pingers. Would love to hit 2". Even if it flips to pingers, it's cold out there. 28.5 average on my local stations. Should just add a protective crusty topping. Hopeful we can avoid the washaway.
