    Too often though models correct warmer as we approach a forecasted cold period. We shall see. The IO warmth has been a big player in the MJO.

    This one hurts for me in particular. I grew up in the Worcester, MA area and have lots of friends and relatives there. 12-18 inches for them with bare ground for weeks to come for me. Ouch.
