  2. When was the last time the Eagles fielded a punt??
  3. Just nice to be discussing snow and not in the long-range thread or going through the old “the storm after the next storm will be our storm” routine. Enjoy the next several hours!
  4. I was in Broomall about on hour ago with a flizzard ongoing. Home now with some light flurries.
  5. And ideally whatever falls will have some staying power and not melt in 12 hours. So, this weekend…snow on snow??
  6. Clouds rolling in, 22F/DP 9F Bar set at 2” of fluff. (Ironically the lawn company is picking up my tractor today for it’s spring service.)
  7. Who’s coaching the Cowboys next year, Belichick or Harbaugh??
  8. 28F Looks like we don’t go above freezing again until next Monday.
  9. Nice little snow globe action going on. Looks more like a heavy snow shower than a squall. Topped at at 40F this morning, now down to 34F.
  10. Our snow drought is so bad that I can’t even watch it snow on TV now??
  11. Weren’t we going to build a time machine so we could live 10 days in the future where it’s always cold and snowing? Asking for a friend.
  12. I love how the 12K NAM sends snow NW of us, then rain showers move in. Our snow drought is reaching Trea Turner portions.
  13. .75” The way the local news was hyping yesterday’s storm, I expected to wake up and see cows hanging from what few trees left still standing.
  14. One week of good departures is 5 1/2 more days than last winter. Rain, 46F. Yay!
  15. GFS looking like the Euro now Atmospheric memory? How about atmospheric amnesia. Its forgotten how to snow along I-95.
  16. I'll gladly take 2-3" of snow, would be the biggest event in a few years. And since we already cancelled next winter, could be the biggest event of the decade Paging Dr. No, anxious weenie await.
  17. Odd seeing the models in their opposite camps. Usually it's the GFS that's flat and OTS at this stage. And if the Euro has been guilty of anything in recent years, its been over amplifying systems on the EC in the medium to long range. Weenie handbook #43: "We just can't know!"
  18. I remember thunder snow with the first storm in 1987.
  19. Are you forgetting where we live? Curious to see if the 18Z Euro follows the 12Z or was it just a hiccup.
  20. 12Z Euro Actually, kind of odd seeing the UKMET and Euro not in agreement. Still, I'm not taking anything too seriously one way or the other before 12Z Saturday. Let's get cutter #2 off the field first.
  21. Yeah, winds kicking up again, 44F. Lost part of tree out back at some point. Fortunately it isn't near anything, so no damage.
  22. 3.50" El Nino! I should have known to take the over. Sump pumps running and some ponding on the basement floor, but I've experienced much worse. High of 57F, now sitting at 45F.
