  1. Clouds rolling in, 22F/DP 9F Bar set at 2” of fluff. (Ironically the lawn company is picking up my tractor today for it’s spring service.)
  2. Who’s coaching the Cowboys next year, Belichick or Harbaugh??
  3. 28F Looks like we don’t go above freezing again until next Monday.
  4. Nice little snow globe action going on. Looks more like a heavy snow shower than a squall. Topped at at 40F this morning, now down to 34F.
  5. Our snow drought is so bad that I can’t even watch it snow on TV now??
  6. Weren’t we going to build a time machine so we could live 10 days in the future where it’s always cold and snowing? Asking for a friend.
  7. I love how the 12K NAM sends snow NW of us, then rain showers move in. Our snow drought is reaching Trea Turner portions.
  8. .75” The way the local news was hyping yesterday’s storm, I expected to wake up and see cows hanging from what few trees left still standing.
  9. One week of good departures is 5 1/2 more days than last winter. Rain, 46F. Yay!
  10. GFS looking like the Euro now Atmospheric memory? How about atmospheric amnesia. Its forgotten how to snow along I-95.
  11. I'll gladly take 2-3" of snow, would be the biggest event in a few years. And since we already cancelled next winter, could be the biggest event of the decade Paging Dr. No, anxious weenie await.
  12. Odd seeing the models in their opposite camps. Usually it's the GFS that's flat and OTS at this stage. And if the Euro has been guilty of anything in recent years, its been over amplifying systems on the EC in the medium to long range. Weenie handbook #43: "We just can't know!"
  13. I remember thunder snow with the first storm in 1987.
  14. Are you forgetting where we live? Curious to see if the 18Z Euro follows the 12Z or was it just a hiccup.
  15. 12Z Euro Actually, kind of odd seeing the UKMET and Euro not in agreement. Still, I'm not taking anything too seriously one way or the other before 12Z Saturday. Let's get cutter #2 off the field first.
  16. Yeah, winds kicking up again, 44F. Lost part of tree out back at some point. Fortunately it isn't near anything, so no damage.
  17. 3.50" El Nino! I should have known to take the over. Sump pumps running and some ponding on the basement floor, but I've experienced much worse. High of 57F, now sitting at 45F.
  18. 1.10” so far, relatively calm atm but the winds were roaring a little while ago.
  19. .40" so far, 43F. Breezy but the cows should start flying around 6pm.
  20. Yeah, I should have added with lollies of 3".
  21. Rain began @ 9:30, 36F at post time. Setting the bar at 2".
  22. "Met winter". Dec 1 - Mar 1. Just an observation. No need to read anything more into it.
  23. Met winter mid point next week. Backloaded winter or bust!
  24. The difference between that pic and the Eagles is a large portion of the Titanic is still above water And yes, when did Monday night playoff games become a thing? Guess I haven't been paying attention. And I'm not saying this because it's the Eagle, but a Monday night game seems like a competitive disadvantage for whoever wins. But when has the NFL ever cared about the players or its fans? TV ratings baby!!
