  1. No clue... still saying 4-9 inches and I don’t think there is any way we get more than 2 total for the storm.
  2. Huh? The NE corridor has had multiple historic storms in the last 5 years. Yeah, great, we get 40 days of snow a year, but 35 of those are less than an inch. I’ll gladly continue to complain as we live in probably one of the worst areas east of the Mississippi for big storms, and we are constantly 50 miles away from a huge hit in every direction. Block me if it bothers you, and I think most of the forum will agree with me. Edit: And yes, this storm has gotten to me. Watching the foot plus amounts continue to push further and further north was truly frustrating, and it happens all the time.
  3. If you want a laugh, read the NE and NYC threads.... I think anyone that lives there and complains should be forced to live and track storms here.
  4. I don’t. They get a two foot storm every other year.
  5. Ehh..I’m reading the lakes thread, and it sound like everything is busting on the southern side. I’m honestly thinking we could see no snow.
  6. So I’m in Pittsburgh, and have been on the southern edge of any significant snow the whole time. is the mix/rain line setting up way further north than anticipated?
  7. My point an click still says all snow...I’m starting to wonder if this is some sort of government shutdown protest.
  8. Jeez.looking at the models the whole state at some point changes over almost. I think this will be an epic forecast bust..possibly one of the broadest and worst we’ve seen.
  9. I’m worried about pitt getting out tonight and getting home. What is your timing on snow starting up there?
  10. I’m honestly thinking we don’t get more than an inch, maybe two.
  11. So I mean, since the temps on the gfs are so much warmer than just about any other major model, can we toss it?
  12. GFS also inched south..we are right on the fringe of mixing on it, but it is really close.
  13. Gfs looks like it might be catching on..definitely edging south.
  14. RGEM is much closer to a hit for us, and considering just how far north it was this is a good bump south.
  15. Well, I think we can agree there...I wish for DC to be 33 and a driving rain every storm.
  16. It is the fact that it keeps bumping north...and the fact that our events almost always set up the mix line 25-50 miles further north than modeled. So while it shows a foot...given other guidance and our general history with storms I’d be shocked if Pittsburgh gets more than 6 inches before a rainstorm.
  17. Yeah, that looks great, but it keeps ticking north, and given our climo in AGC (you’re screeed either way) I push that all at least 25 miles north.
  18. The reason we’re melting isn’t because you are going to get a nice storm...it is because in Pittsburgh we’ve had like one 8 inch plus storm in 8 years. It really sucks. Good luck to you guys though.
