  1. Latest NAM looked decent for some storms in CT, especially in western CT. Sounding looked alright for the Hartford area. Would prefer more DCAPE but hopefully I can get some good pics today.
  2. Cool neutral at best ASO in my opinion. I think a niño is highly unlikely.
  3. The loop is really interesting. It looks like a buzzsaw that just stops short of landfall. Good for the people out there. Florida has seen its fair share of close calls too. Matthew, Dorian, and Isaias come to mind.
  4. I’m not as big into connecting the hemispheric dots, but folks like HM think the recurve will dislodge the current pattern and potentially open up severe season in the plains. It snowed here last May
  5. The structure actually looks a bit worse than before but man what a monster. Wish we had some visible imagery.
  6. 190mph/888mb Absolutely ridiculous for April.
  7. I don’t usually look at WPAC stuff, but this one is a beauty.
  8. Congrats! You just never know where life will take you. I'm happy for you.
  9. I'm only here for the spinning cyclones. It doesn't snow anymore
  10. This was a really hard week, but I’m happy to introduce my newest art acquisition. This is the one of a few I just got:
  11. Totally agree. Need good spots for shelf cloud season, high elevation vistas, and big surf.
  12. All I’m asking for is something chase worthy. This winter sucked for that.
  13. 35.5/34 Rain/Snow mix with more flakes.
  14. Wind outlook I really might head west if there’s something high end in the plains this May/June.
  15. NHC updated their report on Isaias and I found it interesting how the tornado reports were so close to the center. Perhaps it’s because of the baroclinic enhancement? I guess it could also be proximity to the ocean.
  16. Don’t forget tropical. Long Island Express the sequel is coming in August. Between snow, severe, drought, and tropical we should achieve total deforestation by Labor Day.
  17. This thread. This wholesome and happy thread.
  18. Had Pfizer and the arm soreness started near the injection site and about 8 hours later progressed to my joint. Also had fatigue and nausea. All good in ~24 hours.
  19. Rough period for chasers out there. Though I’m sure normal people are happy about that. I’m considering a trip to the northern plains this spring. Maybe I can get in front of a high risk derecho . Anyway—on topic. End week looks robust lol. Nice signal but I worry about rug pulling inside 24h. Berks look nice though.
  20. What was your search process if you don’t mind my asking? I’m thinking to get a drone before I start hitting the road for chase season but I don’t know where to start.
