  1. Honestly, I just want a more normal season. Nothing has been normal lately.
  2. Just raze every town and forest to my NW and build a heated Great Lake.
  3. I’m sure that’s part of it (because it takes a lot of work to clean thousands of catch basins) but there were a number of legit torrential rain events that would have caused flash flooding regardless.
  4. The temp has dropped here over the course of the morning 54.8° 2.13” since midnight
  5. Models have been so bad with this. Just look at the 06z NAM 1.74” since midnight. 2.23” overall. Looks like NW Mass getting it good too. Need this kind of production in winter.
  6. This is one of those times I need to see it to believe it. Should be able to get to .75” overall I think. At .37” today and .06 yesterday.
  7. .25” on the day with the first heavier stuff coming in soon. .06” yesterday.
  8. From the model that violently puked on itself today.
  9. Another one. Unclear if this gets to H status, but that’d be nice lol. The slowdown should be here, so Philippe may be it until October unless the lemon develops. 10. I know I am down on winter to the point of annoyance, but there genuinely is nothing like a good winter storm where the posts and pictures are coming in fast and (mostly) everyone is happy. I do hope we get at least one of those this upcoming season. Happy autumn, everyone.
  11. 53/50. -RA. Temp shot up as the mix line went from Hoth to Will faster than I think I’ve ever seen. So much for the -.003 NAO holding the line. Not sure why anyone thought this “winter” would be better than the last. More Scooter streaks than a newborn ward this season. Congrats @tamarack.

  13. Running out of time but lightning and radar velocities are increasing on the western “inner” part of the center.
