  1. .40” so far… looks like more chances too
  2. Unbearably miserable out. Went to the garden center at Home Depot for a few things and came out sweating like a pig.
  3. I live directly behind the dog track. The only thing it’s used for now is creating a ton of dust, and dumping questionable materials in the back.
  4. Beer was ice cold… just talking about how many southeast ma specials we’ll have this winter. Going to be a lot of sad folks NW and in and up.
  5. These articles should Basically read “don’t bother getting the vaccine if you’re on the fence, because you’re still going to be required to wear a mask anyway, and nothing about your life will change in a positive manner”
  6. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/politics/los-angeles-county-reimposing-indoor-mask-requirement.amp and. Here. We. Go.
  7. The worst. I have no idea how they even got in there. and thanks… YouTube is fantastic for this stuff. Teaching myself how to do a few things and working through this stuff has saved me a good chunk of change even in just the last year.
  8. @Typhoon Tip I have a newer house and my windows look pretty similar to that. I just sat the AC (to be fair, it’s a small unit) right on that lip and closed the window. It’s been fine. I’ll put a link at the end of this post. But I put these right above the closed window one the AC was in, to make sure nobody could accidentally open the window, or there wasn’t any shifting or moving. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005H3N43K?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  9. So update on my HVAC. I did a little research and YouTube watching and was led to check the 3 amp fuse inside the furnace. Sure enough, it was burnt out. So i replaced the thermostat, (wife wanted a new one anyway) with a new programmable one. I then put a new fuse in, and turned everything back on and it blew immediately again. So I went outside to the AC compressor and took the electrical panel off to find a rather large mice nest. They had chewed through various wires, I’m guessing the recent rains got in and shorted the system. Cut the wires back and re attached them with clean ends, pressed the reset button on the outdoor compressor. Fired everything back up and so far so good. Everything is working.
  10. So I found a blown 3 amp fuse inside the furnace on the control board… I’m going to replace that and see what happens
  11. Thanks. Yeah I just checked the outside unit and it’s not clogged, looks fine. And I changed the inside filters last week, so those should be okay. I turned the switch on the side of the furnace/AC off and as soon as I turn the switch back on, even with the thermostat off… the blower starts right back up.
  12. So I have a bit of an HVAC problem. The blower fan on my heating and cooling unit will not shut off. I turn the thermostat to off and it just keeps running, the fan that is. I also turned down the temp to see if the compressor outside would kick on, and it did not. Not sure if that has something to do with the blower fan constantly running or what?
  13. My buddies and I got caught on in a storm walking a golf course last year. We just went into the woods a bit and crouched down next to a cluster of bigger trees. Im not sure what you are supposed to do in that instance, but standing out in the open sure didn’t seem like the right choice.
  14. I will say, the few days we were there were pretty eye opening as to the economic effects of Covid. There were a lot of businesses, especially off the main strip that had been staples of our trips there over the years, that were permanently closed. A lot of places, mainly restaurants, are also either only open for dinner, or only for the weekend. Only about 25% of the restaurants were open last night. It was slim picking
  15. We cut our trip to North Conway way short. We left this afternoon… it was supposed to be a week trip ending on Saturday… so really we stayed for a few days and left. Anyway, the weather was garbage, and even if it wasn’t raining it was damp and crappy. It also didn’t look much better moving forward either
  16. It was amazing… pricey but very good
  17. Cloudy… showery. A not nice day in North Conway
  18. Thanks…. I think we’ll punt and maybe go in the afternoon if it is better
  19. We are supposed to go to echo lake tomorrow. Is it going to be really bad up here or do we think we can sneak it in?
