Driveway is getting resurfaced today. I spoke to a few contractors outside of the one I’m using, and all said it should be fine even with the colder weather. Hoping to not end up with issues

Ended up changing to a slightly larger unit. Literally everything in my house is electric, so should do the trick. Can’t hurt to have the extra juice.
I will say this, the saturation of the ground prior to the winds definitely played a role. There were numerous trees in this area, and many more on the south shore that were straight up just blown over, roots out of the ground.
Top gust was only like 45 mph here. I know it seems like a short time to everyone that doesn’t have municipal power. It is usually much better than this. Numerous comments about how it’s the worst experience from tmlp in anyone’s lifetime.
Were they better prepared though? I’m not sure about that. I’m pretty sure this was the first time in my life TMLP called in out of state help… sounds like they were anything but prepared.
