    Top gust was only like 45 mph here. I know it seems like a short time to everyone that doesn’t have municipal power. It is usually much better than this. Numerous comments about how it’s the worst experience from tmlp in anyone’s lifetime.

    Were they better prepared though? I’m not sure about that. I’m pretty sure this was the first time in my life TMLP called in out of state help… sounds like they were anything but prepared.

    Taunton has 1 hazardous waste collection day a year and it was in august. Other than that, nothing else I can see. Closest facility I can find is in Sutton ma, and it’s open 2 days a week, while I’m at work of course.

    Anyone here have any idea how to get rid of old gasoline? I have a few containers that have gotten water in them and what not. I can’t find anything online or anywhere that I can bring it.

    I guess it was pretty bad. Seems like any time we get a storm now, it’s 6” minimum.

    To be fair, we’ve had some Brutal years sprinkled in the last 10-15. It’s been mostly good, but when it’s bad, boy is it bad.

I was out for nearly 40 hours, which is unprecedented for this service area. They dropped the ball, and they knew it, frantically calling in out of state municipal power agencies to assist

    Power came back on about 2 hours ago. TMLP was woefully unprepared for this event.
