I would be good money masks will be making a comeback in many spots in Massachusetts, despite low covid numbers.

Excise tax is ridiculous. I traded in my fusion in feb 2020 and it was hell to get an abatement from the city. And I didn’t see the actual money until the summer time.

I’m vaxxed and had covid before getting the vaccine. I’m not really worried about it, I’m worried that my life is once again going to be negatively affected. Individual choice on the vaccines, but when I am going to be inconvenienced again, yeah I’m not happy.

Right… but when nearly everyone in hospitals with covid is unvaccinated, it kind of draws attention to you know, being unvaccinated. Not exactly a great argument for folks concerned with vaccine effectiveness and side effects.

The US is using different, generally better vaccines though. The numbers are what they are though. They can’t be explained away.

I know everyone says the people not getting the vaccine aren’t pushing for masks or continued restrictions, which may very well be true. The problem is, the unvaccinated are driving all the important metrics that are leading to a potential return to restrictions and masks. It’s simply not up for debate. Hospitalizations and deaths are like 97% and 99% unvaccinated respectively at this point. Those are the important numbers, and they are being driven nearly exclusively unvaccinated individuals.

Are we sure? Many thought we’d never see it come back from a federal standpoint, and here we are, only 2 months later. Baker has been just as cautious, if not more than the CDC guidance. If they issue guidance, he won’t hesitate to follow it

Fauci today basically confirmed there is a good chance federal mask guidance is coming back. Everyone, included vaccinated folks, will be wearing masks again.

I get that… but if you are outside during a thunderstorm and a tree branch falls and hits you, am I liable because it was on my property? Should we just level all the worlds trees to avoid that? You can sue anyone for anything, I just have a hard time believing this person will be able to prove negligence. (Granted I really don’t know what it is, but I’m guessing it’s silly)

I do find it absolutely hilarious that people are “worried about the long term effects of a vaccine” but don’t give a second thought to pounding alcohol, smoking copious amounts of weed, and generally treating their bodies like absolute garbage. I’m afraid of the vaccine but all 3 of my daily meals are fried in lard, no problem.

wish I could help you out, but it’s all done by county. If your seriously having a lot of mosquitos. Call Norfolk county mosquito control. They will come spray around your property. It’s done in the wee hours of the morning.

It can’t be said enough. This is nothing more than a casedemic for those who are vaccinated. There is a minuscule shot of anything resembling serious illness in those who are fully vaccinated, even if you happen to have a breakthrough case. I think the issue is less the delta variant, and more the fact that vaccination numbers are shockingly low in a large portion of the country

Sounds like there as least discussion at a federal level of reinstating some of the masking stuff. Figured that was coming.
