  1. Speaking of pools, anyone here have a plunge/splash pool? We have a small backyard and can’t fit a big traditional in ground. Seems like a plunge pool could be an option for a small space
  2. That stuff from Israel could be kind of misleading. If most people are vaxxed, it makes sense that the majority of hospitalizations would be vaxxed people. The more important information is percentage of vaccinated people who are in the hospital
  3. Something to follow with the Patriots QB situation. Reading between the lines, Mac Jones is vaccinated, and cam Newton is not. That absolutely could play a role as we move forward here
  4. https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadspin.com/kirk-cousins-isn-t-good-enough-to-make-everyone-deal-wi-1847435897/amp spot on article. Broader view, it also hits hard. “I’m doing research” is big time LOL material.
  5. Good example of the vaccines preventing severe illness. Massachusetts will actually be a good test moving forward given the vaccination numbers here. Cases keep rising, but so far, deaths aren’t following
  6. Deaths are actually down this week in Massachusetts vs last according to 7 day averages
  7. Is it wearing a mask? Or is it vaccinated? Please keep ample distance, out of an abundance of caution of course
  8. Right. He does kind of have a point though. It seems like a very difficult metric to get back out of once in, even with vaccinations. Up until May, I had to wear a mask at work for 8 hours straight. Whether I was alone in my truck, or outdoors 100 yards away from people. So I’m a sense, I get the mask fatigue, I lived it for over a year.
  9. The majority of spread is still coming from unvaccinated individuals. If more people were vaccinated, the transmission from a mostly vaccinated population would probably be a moot point.
  10. The whole vaccine situation in this country reflects quite poorly on all of us as Americans. Every man, woman, and young adult has had exclusive access to the two best vaccines in the world for at least several months, some close to 8-9 months at this point. It’s free, and you can literally get it probably a mile from your house at a drug store. There are countries and areas of the world that won’t see this vaccine for years if at all, and we have exclusive access to it and more than likely any booster needed. And we can’t get enough uptake to tamp this thing down? Bad look for us.
  11. Could be some decent totals. Looks like a lot of rain to still move up and through
  12. Looks like It could actually wind down for a while after midnight until like sunrise
  13. I would have had no idea I had covid if it wasn’t for the loss of taste and smell. I wasn’t sick.
  14. When my wife and I rented our condo 3 years ago, we signed up for YouTube tv. It was awesome and only like $35 a month when we got it. It was obviously still fairly new and not as well known. Between that and WiFi, we were only spending like 75$ a month for internet and tv. Naturally, as more people went to it, the price has gone up and quality has gone down. A couple of my friends have tried it, and say it sucks now. At the end of the day; with the price of streaming services and other subscriptions it’s probably just cheaper to keep cable. Our cable bill is like $185 a month with Verizon fios. That split with my parents downstairs in the in-law; it’s not bad
  15. Did they do that in NY? Thought they were requiring proof of vaccine. I don’t see anything about mask mandates
  16. NAM has the rain shield so far west it basically steins se mass and the cape
  17. Covid causes a bunch of short term and long term issues too, I continually don’t understand why people are hung up on vaccine side effects when the effects of covid are virtually slapping everyone in the face. I get the young and healthy are low risk, but like the vaccine, we have no idea the long term Covid affects
  18. Out of an abundance of caution, all deer and hunters will be required to mask up out in the wilderness.
