    I’m not entirely convinced this doesn’t weaken a bit as we get closer though… seems to fit the bill for what we’ve seen so far this season

    Right…. We need good rates… euro looks like it would provide that for a bit anyway.

    Euro is probably a net gain overall…. 2-4” of snow to sleet ending as a bit of rain…. As you said:. Maybe we get the reach around back to snow at the end

    Looks like a solid 2-4” thump south of the pike before any mixing… can’t complain…. May end up a net gain

    Yeah… definitely looks like a non zero chance of accumulating snow…. We’ll see what happens over the next 2-3 days

    Question in general…. Why is there say, more snow down here than northern and western conn? Is it the position of the high, and draining of the cold air?

    Sign me up. Started in earnest with Boxing Day. I know that storm triggers some folks but it was a great event here. January was like a mini 2015… pack got pretty substantial
