  1. I came here to check out the weather for PA and so far I have read about every other state.... Just kidding, guys. Glad you can bond over other topics too.
  2. Point and click now has 7 to 11 inches for here.
  3. 6 inches in 4.5 hours and still snowing. Had a few periods with 2 to 3" per hour rates...but seems like 1" per hour was the average. Walked around and took some measurements. 20 to 24 inch snow depth in my yard which gets southern sun...so no doubt we have 2 to 3 feet snow depth in many areas not exposed to sun and wind. Snow retention is key here.
  4. She is actually north of the heaviest. Did you guys see the most recent map? Nice surprise.
  5. 3 hours of HEAVY snow now and continuing. Haven't measured, but friends are reporting 3 inches per hour.
  6. It seems to me that the Rgem has been one of the best this winter.
  7. Stop it. You'll make me bitter... I am going to have to make a trip up here in future years for one of those events.
  8. Was "2 to 4 inches" a couple hours ago. Love when it increases...
  9. Band looks to have stalled temporarily over northern Oswego county and southern Lewis. Piling up here.
  10. I'll take 8 more inches. Pound town currently.
  11. I would love to see the band hit during the day. Seriously, every one of our heavier events has hit at night. They started usually with Sw flow during the afternoons, then shift West in the evenings, then NW overnight. I actually meant to ask if this is a common set up with different variables, or just coincidence.
  12. Can we move this band just a bit farther north? I think what has been even more painful this winter is that there has been more snow in about every direction. That stripe of Northwest Oneida county between here and Camden (Florence area) has been slammed all winter. Consistently more snow there than here throughout the winter with bands seeming to pop up there with different wind directions. They have had some good bands even from Lake Erie on SW winds while I look at sunshine.
  13. Thanks for stopping in, Don. That surprises me that this is one of their snowiest. Shows that Buffalo doesn't have a very large spread of low snow to high snow years...like some other areas of the Great Lakes.
  14. I love that Madison county still maintains quite a rural character but is close to many things at the same time. I really have become fond of that area.
  15. Was surprised to wake up and see it is still snowing here. Via radar it looks like we have had some upslope here. Returns not showing up on radar well. You want to read something funny? I actually had a DREAM that Carol replied to my post on here about getting more snow than her. Sad. Lol
  16. Still dumping at 2 to 3 inch per hour rates. Might make it to a half foot or more in just a few hours...but band looks to be shifting south now.
  17. I know one thing is for sure: I am so pleased to be getting more than Carol.
  18. Wowzers...this band means business! Several inches per hour rates here. Can't see across my yard. Band looks to be slowing its southern progression... When it stalls over you guys down south, you're in for quite a treat.
  19. The only absolute here is the Southern Tug will get screwed. That is all.
  20. Yup! And then 12Z runs showing exactly Why I am so ready for this LES season to be over. The same burn over and over and over this winter. Enjoy your new snow, bud!
  21. I am happy for you and truly irritated for me.
  22. Thanks for the info. Did you live there or go to school there? Housing outside of the towns seems much more reasonable than right in. Was surprised to find random stores like a Big Lots in Hamilton. Never seen one in a town that size.
  23. Lol...2019 Southern Tug Lake effect snow shield lives on. Picked up the usual 4 inches and the westerly flow is so weak that everything is dying out before it makes it here. Still trying to figure out what flipping parameters actually produce a great event here... If I move to WNY, blame your poor LESs on me. Sucked when I moved to West Michigan and have sucked here on the Tug.
