We had some snow left over since Thursday until around noon today. Now we replenish again tomorrow. Nice little (and temporary) start to winter.

lol..Now that the models are all coming into consensus with what the Euro was showing, what does the Euro do? Goes even farther northwest! This run looks meh for the Syracuse area.

I am thinking 4 to 6 inch event for the Syracuse area...and then a couple more with lake effect afterward.

Hey, all! I got a couple inches of snow here in northern Onondaga county over the past couple days. With this upcoming system, what is with the snow hole over Oswego county on many of the models? Downslope? Warmer temps off lake?

Hey, everybody! Just moved into our temporary place between Baldwinsville and Phoenix this week. Maybe we will find a house within the next year that fits our needs/interests in the area. P.S. The Bville YMCA is awesome! Looking forward to chatting weather with you all from my new location. I think last winter prepared me for what it's like to be "riding the edge" of the LO snow bands. Maybe we'll find our home between Bville and Fulton.

Lol... Thanks for the congrats! We may end up in Southern Oswego County to live. Taxes are so much lower there. I've considered your old stomping grounds of Fulton, but not sure I want to do that drive. I've also had several "warnings" not to even consider Fulton.

Hey, weather friends! Welp, I accepted a job in Baldwinsville a couple weeks ago. Sooooo, it looks like I will be calling several of you my neighbors soon. Won't be in the heavy snowbelt anymore :( but close enough that I will be able to enjoy some lake effect events. The wife and I are looking on the northern side of Baldwinsville, from the 4 corners to Radisson, and north and west. So, that will put me even closer to some of the good bands when the right flow sets up. If any of you Baldwinsville/Lysander/Phoenix posters have a house for sale (not looking for anything fancy) or an apartment, shoot me a message. I look forward to joining the beautiful, scenic, friendly community of B'ville!

Even snowing right now in northeast PA.

On interstate 81 heading south right now. Switched to snow in Cortland county. Heavy snow and sleet. Three accidents around us as roads turned to slush.

Staying at my friend's in Sylvan Beach...4 inches has fallen since 10 pm and still coming down! Nice surprise.

Work up earlier just in time to see the rain transition to snow. I love watching the transition take place. Big fluffers falling.

Still have snow up to my knees up here on the Tug. Actually it's more like icy slush snow.

Yeah, snow pack is solid here. I figure dewpoints were low as snow was not melting rapidly. Went out to clear a path in the yard and it is still up to my knees.

I grew up in Southern Lancaster county, and that area is a mini tornado alley. Of all the places I have lived, I have never seen storms as severe as I did living there. Watch the radar during storm season, and you will see them develop over southern York county and track east over the river and pound Solanco. I lived in Penn Manor school district...and the towns right along the Susquehanna often had funnel clouds. Washington Boro down to Conestoga to Mt. Nebo.

Getting good snowfall here. Again waited til after dark to get started...pretty much like all the others.

Haven't even seen a snow shower today...lol.

Just came back from PA. Hopefully get to see a good event this early week. Have an informal interview in Cazenovia on Tuesday morning. I really am liking that area. I have several jobs I am very interested in around Madison county.

6 more inches overnight. Now have the deepest snow pack of the winter at 30 to 40 inches.
