I've gone from baking powder flakes to ice pellets to moderate snow, big flakes in the past 15 minutes. Hoping this can lay down that .25" or so I need to hit 4".
I wasn't really seeing this so shreded on any models last night. Usually some of the mesos pick up on these disasters. We did get a really good burst around 5am then again between 8-9am.
Goes from -SN to +SN back to -SN in the span of 10 minutes.
The funny part is this was not really looking moisture starved on models or radar last night.
There is a decent hit of ice coming somewhere in SNE. Also, a good front end dump somewhere between Rt 2 and Dendrite, most likely NE of my locale. Somewhere on E Slope of Berks gets 8"+ though. I think. Good storm for Berkshire East.
