    Hopefully February brings the goods in terms of snow. It is a classic old-school New England mountain and when it is wide open it is super fun! Wachuesett has more trails (and is fantastic) but B’East has more vertical and glades if we can actually get them open.

    B’East folks did a damn fine job making that mountain enjoyable today! Once again, a little rain in the forecast kept folks away but conditions were great through the afternoon.

    Been pretty light here and did not even start until 2 PM. Congrats NYC and HV so far on rain totals.

    Was that going to be a thing? Light rain 36F here. B’East was good today. Rain held off until 2pm

    They must’ve blown snow on lower lift line all week because it was in great shape.

    Nice morning at Berkshire East no lines and the snow was real nice packed powder and soft machine groomed.

    Yes and some folks couldn't care less about the quality of wood they burn in them or if its green.

    Imagine if they get a rainer followed by a freeze? Glacier type stuff.

    We only seem to have them here in the summer but maybe less wood stoves here too?

    Half of the New England forum would, at this point, do well to take a few days off from Weather and go enjoy something else. I’m going to go ski in the morning before the rain comes and enjoy the second Saturday this month that will have featured “spring skiing”

    This thread has gone full If you’re not getting snow in January, yes it sucks but the atmosphere manifests as it does and our mathematical models are still a fallible tool. Just have fun and go outside every day every season!

    Thus my Debruary comment earlier. There is little indication that we are done with winter in SNE.
