  1. Radar getting ragged over NY/PA this will be done soon for western areas. Unfortunately, I don't see much more than a coating of ice and sleet for most posters in CT and W MA. Crap storm for SNE/CNE during peak snow season.
  2. Great storm for SR, Loaf and Saddleback. Over a foot of snow and little wind so all the trails getting filled in.
  3. Last night you could see the cold air just pouring down the HRV.
  4. I am on pace for an all time snow futility winter since we moved here in 2007. My last storm over 5" was December 2020.
  5. I'm still surprised how far N the mix went and how long it lasted. I thought sure Dendrite and Dryslot were good for some warning snows.
  6. Looks like a pretty big dry slot over central CT up through MA border.
  7. That's weird. Down to 30F here. Latent heat release from heavy rain there?
  8. You have that much? You must have flipped hours before W MA. Just a heavy coating here.
  9. It's going to be a mess from you to Central MA along RT 2. Frozen water logged snow in the yards, glazed driveways with .5" - 2" of sleet, frozen puddles and glazed sidewalks. Yuck. Fortunately, in Greenfield, we only had a minutes of freezing rain. Went from 32.2 to 31.5 in about 15 minutes and flipped to sleet.
  10. Well, it also often nails the precipitation moving out quicker than most other models.
  11. I can’t remember the last time I had a winter storm warning for almost no accumulations.
  12. Seems like precipitation shield is moving pretty quickly on radar. Is this over by early afternoon for W areas?
  13. Nailing that mid-level warmth is the NAM’s greatest strength.
  14. 32.2° moderate rain. Lovely. I’ve dropped 1° in the past five hours I’m not sure what happened to the cold air push into the valley?
  15. It’s been 33° here since 4 AM so that last degree down is a tough one to get.
  16. From Phin's area up through Sugarloaf are going to get smoked.
  17. At least the heavier rain will slow the accretion on power lines and branches. You should flip to sleet soon.
  18. It's not moving too fast, I've been stuck at 35/33 for hours.
  19. Wow, that looks like some impressive rates. You're going to do great up there!
  20. Yeah, Greenfield is in between the Boston and Albany beams so not always completely accurate.
