  1. It has been really fascinating to go through the past 18 months in Franklin Co. in comparison to what other people I know have experienced. Most people, for better or for worse, followed the masking and social distancing suggestions. Sure having business closures sucked, however , there has been very little panic, about Sars-Cov2 here because it just was never that prevalent. I have several nurse and nurse practitioner friends, that work at the Franklin Co hospital (Baystate Franklin) and Covid never took hold of the county, in a meaningful way.
  2. GDP well below estimates but DJIA is up 200 points. Seems logical.
  3. C’mon, Just make a day of it and hit honest weight, brick and feather, People’s pint and TreeHouse. I’m sure you’ll be fine for the ride home.
  4. They are having a lot of problems with the town so have had some issues with sporadic hours. Lots of NIMBY pushback due to traffic concerns. Honestly, I can see why, it’s a one road in, one road out situation. Come to TreeHouse Deerfield, there is hardly ever a line! I was talking to one of the workers who was telling me that management was a little underwhelmed by the turnout at this location. I think that will change once they have a full brewery and taproom open and it’s not just pick up.
  5. I have several vaxed friends who got it just to avoid hassles, not necessarily for the good of society. One of them is a lawyer in NH and she is just licking her chops, getting ready for clients who are going to legally oppose any vax mandates.
  6. Wow, he went downhill quick. I know he wasn't on the current tour but they said he was "recovering". They put out some great tunes over the years.
  7. This is heading for massive civil division across the western world. Have you seen the size of some of the anti-lockdown protest in Europe?
  8. Didn't India use Ivermectin en masse when they were in the trows of the pandemic? I don't really know what to believe anymore. I may take a few weeks off from the news and just stick to my own, local life duties. My part of the world was pretty calm during this entire pandemic and I have no reason to believe it won't be going forward. Masks will be a mild inconvenience if mandated but I'm not expecting food shortages etc.
  9. I’m sitting in the line in NW MA. Some decent gusts but not much thunder. Torrential rain though.
  10. The swimmers blow my mind. Talk about core strength.
  11. Probably not though. I don’t have much empathy for anybody who gets wrekt playing any of the financial markets.
  12. In 12 years year I’ve never seen haze at treetop level. Crazy.
  13. Some big institutional investor dumped 15000+ BTC last week, crashed the price, liquidated all of the leveraged longs and then all the leveraged shorts got hard squeezed the past 24 hours in the run up. Full attack mode from institutional buyers. Something is up.
  14. Nice Bitcoin move the past 48 hours. That ain’t retail investors pushing that kind of rise.
  15. Are you sure that’s not the Indica?
  16. This might be the heaviest haze I’ve ever seen in the valley.
  17. Bitcoin looking solid. AWT. Zoom out the chart.
  18. Amsterdam has some great museums.
  19. Covid. Is. Boring. Let's make off topic great again.
  20. That is exactly what has been going on since May. I'm not against getting vaccinated mind you, I am aghast at the politics and profit aspect.
  21. If you have had it or just want an IgG or IgG/IgM antibody serology blood test, they are available and relatively inexpensive.
  22. This has been handled very poorly, by many of the first world countries, in terms of consistent and agreed upon policy. Confusion reigns supreme.
  23. Well, lets be clear, wouldn't you like a solar or wind powered everything?
  24. If someone has had Sars-Cov2 and currently tests high for antibodies, is there any compelling reason why they should get vaccinated?
  25. It’s pretty amazing watching the showers just dissipate as they approach Cape Cod. Second time this week I’ve seen that. No wonder they still are watering the gardens and lawns down here.
