  1. NAM is a good front end thump here before pelting. Still need a lot of work for peeps E of ORH,
  2. That would bring a mix right up through central Vermont.
  3. That has Greenfield in the 50 percentile which seems about right.
  4. I am still in disbelief that @TauntonBlizzard2013 has not had a white Christmas in 12 years!?! I would think he should be averaging one every four years?
  5. Definitely no Valley screw job with this one. Pretty uniform reports of 4 to 6 inches from Springfield to Brattleboro. Looks like winter.
  6. Despite the cold temperatures yesterday it certainly wasn’t “fluff” here. Not quite baking powder but pretty dense.
  7. 4.2” here in Greenfield. We probably had a little bit more than that but I did not measure until late night.
  8. Longitude (and elevation) is going to be a factor for the Friday storm me thinks.
  9. This is one of those rare times when Greenfield outperformed your new location. I'm usually cursing how Dave and Whieminster are doubling my snow totals. lol Winding down with some big fat flakes. Radar looks like everyone in WNE is just about done. Fun event, snowy day and night and no wind. Close to 4.5" here.
  10. As of 10:30 I'm at 4.2"! Over-performer here. Gorgeous walking the dog.
  11. Yeah, obviously I was joking with my post but it would be nice to have Friday work out. Even if it is tucked you and I can still score warning snows before the flip to sleet and rain.
  12. Probably end up being his December total.
  13. I forgot about you. It’s nice to have someone else from Franklin Co. posting obs.
  14. 2.7” 35/20. -SN Pretty dense snow here due to mediocre snow growth. Roads are slick.
  15. This picture was about an hour ago. Over an inch here now. 27/22. -SN
  16. 28/20. Steady light snow the past 2 hours in Greenfield. Roads are covered. Little under a half inch so far. That’s more than I expected to have this early in the day. The snow made it a more festive day to pick out a Christmas tree.
  17. Might need to wait another week or so in most of New England but pattern looks decent. Congrats CT peeps tomorrow.
  18. A tale of two different yeast strains.
  19. Is it shredded or just a weak SW to begin with?
  20. I can just see it now, distinct possibility that between tomorrow’s storm and next week, the Rt 2 corridor and N will be sitting at < 2” for the seven day period. Plenty of time to change though. I just like to keep my expectations in check.
  21. I wasn’t out here then but I’ve always found that storm pretty hilarious. 4” in Greenfield but 40” if you went 30mi E or W. Perhaps the greatest downsloping of all time for the CRV.
  22. Hey all, have fun! I had to bail, one of our long time Boy Scout troop leaders passed away last night. I’ve got some obligations that are ahead of weather geeking today.
  23. Expectations need to be kept in check by anyone outside of W CT.
