Moderate snow here now but not really accumulating at 36°. this stuff is so damn wet I don’t think my snowblower is going to be able to move it. Depending on what we finish with, I may just let the driveway sit and melt over the week.

There are very large differences over small distances out here. Nature of the storm. You should start catching up though.

It’s fine, at this point in the season I would rather my yard melt out sooner. I just really wanted to pad my seasonal stats. Plus watching snow stack up is fun! This will be one of those years when Dave and Subdude 2-3x my seasonal total.

If it makes you feel any better, I could walk 20 minutes to where there is twice as much snow as mby.

I hear you. I’ve never seen so many hours of moderate snow accumulate so little. At least I’ll have a short drive to see some epic snow later on.

Be great if we could get into some heavy rates here this afternoon. I at least wanna get to warning snows. Finally picking back up a bit here in Greenfield. That was a solid 30 or 40 minute lull.

Wow, 10" just 2 miles up the road from me! Elevation ftw. Shadowing and marginal temps ftl. It's been snowing since 6am here and I still have bare spots in the yard. The .75" of rain and saturated ground probably the cause of that tho'. Now hearing reports of 2' in Charlemont and Heath. I bet Savoy/Florida get 35-40". 3" 34/32 -SN

About 3" here, haven't really been able to get past the moderate snow rates yet. 34/32 isn't helping but fortunately not too much sag on the trees. I'm sure the 6" report from downtown Greenfield is probably accurate. Some weird nuances going on. Orange - Athol only has about 3" and they are not really in the valley. Coworker up the road from me in E Colrain has 14" and trees down!

Yeah, friend in Northfield said the same thing, under 2” in town. Snow has definitely picked up, really hoping to top the 7-8” from last week’s storm.
