  1. At this point I just want to see the ground white. It’s been since December 11th, which is ridiculous.
  2. Be honest, what you hate most is that you missed out on that EF2 in Jersey the other day.
  3. Lol 4-5” sounds like a pretty robust seasonal total at this point.
  4. I mean, even if the models throw out HECS after HECS over the next five days, I’m so snakebitten this season that I won’t be able to take them seriously until I see Ryan standing in a business suit in the NBC parking lot weening out in 5”/hr rates.
  5. Futility is a HECS in its own way. The S just stands for suckerhole instead.
  6. Interesting. I was worried about the temps aloft perhaps being marginal if the primary doesn’t fizzle down in Ohio. I guess the high is in a decent spot though.
  7. Gotta say it always makes me a little uncomfortable having the primary hold together so far north. Is there a risk of warmer air aloft working in down here?
  8. Wow. That’s some impressive weighting. I definitely weight big storms over consistent pack, but even a Feb ‘13 repeat could only get me to a C.
  9. If I miraculously pull off a 3 footer next week and suddenly find myself at climo snowfall, what grade is fair for the winter? I’m still inclined to fail it for the dumpster fire to date, but others may feel differently.
  10. Some pretty solid damage pics showing up in the NY sub forum.
  11. Moderate liquid snow. I tried to slant stick it, but my ruler went down a storm drain.
  12. I’m considering this winter full atonement for the glory of 2015. As far as im concerned, the debt has been paid off and we enter next winter with a clean slate.
  13. March was incredible. Leaving my office downtown to walk to the T with the temps in the upper 70s and magnolias and pears blossoming and girls in sun dresses reading on the Common was great.
  14. '11-'12 had a extraordinary early season HECS. This is way worse.
  15. In Scott's vein, here's a fun little video about the challenges of removing the snow in 2015 at MIT.
  16. The greatest Jebwalk I ever had was after that storm.
  17. Epic storm in Boston. Pretty unique radar evolution with a band swinging through up into coastal Maine, throwing on the brakes, then coming right back south.
  18. that was the second brutal bust in these parts that month. Was forecast to get a solid 12-18”. Wound up with 2”, while Islip due south pulled 24”. I recall Ryan catching some heat for that forecast.
  19. Yeah 20” in the hills of CT is pretty incredible at that time of year. Good call.
