    Why don't people like humidity? I love that swamp feeling and reminds me we do not live in the North. If you don't like it, you are at the wrong latitude on the East coast. Went on a 5 mile hike this afternoon at great falls and it was beautiful!

    Does it get better than this? Absolutely love this weather. Only thing would be if dews were close to that 75 degree mark but we are on our way!!

    If only this happened a month from now with higher dew points/temps with full sun from morning on and some extra sun altitude. There's no coincidence the derecho happened in late June. Could argue that's the absolute peak time to maximize a storm around here.

    Two historically warm years out of 3, with last year being historically chilly if I remember correctly? Doesn't seem like DC has "average" months all that often in the spring.

    Come back down to the south! We do warm well April to October! Last I checked boston is still in the 50s into mid may. AWFUL

    Fair enough. You have the stats, I don't. I'll concede that. Maybe I'm a micro climate, but I've witnessed stickage issues mid day even with February sun. Naturally I'm skeptical due to my personal experience on the blacktops 'round here IMBY.
