I haven't been following this. Miami declining interest, as in for the 2023/24, and not prior to the Tampa Bay signing after the Patriots? I didn't know this was even a thing and that Tom was looking to make this move.

I was telling you this a few weeks ago. I am sorry that you held on. Fleeting false hopes will soon turn into past tales of the winter that never was, and we can enjoy an ole' fashioned cold, damp April of yore.

...Yeah. I know. It's awful, and I am droning on with negativity, and preaching to the choir. In my heart I don't want it to be over, but the sensible part of me says the next 6-8 weeks will be nothing short of continued disappointment, heartache and sadness...eventually boiling over to a crescendo of screams of, f.uck this winter, while barely holding back from taking it out on my computer with every sad sack, pathetic model run that is spewed forth. I can't wait for another 2 days when the damn hedgehog will be yanked from it's stump to tell me that that there will be another 6 weeks of winter. This combined with watching obnoxious Eagles fans descend on Arizona for the next 10 days is just icing on the cake.

Minus the "nice" with barely "winter" in my neck of the woods. Just some light snow that partially dusted over some grassy areas. Besides that I end the month with .75", with 4.75" for the season thus far. The Lesco powered and poisoned lawn thread can't come quick enough.

I had those growing up. You can find them on ebay, but that's about it. I did know a guy who made his own out of archery arrows and turkey feathers with some kind of weight.

lol. Dude was a bonehead for even doing it, although... Go to 15:15 in this highlight video (you will have to go to YOUTUBE due to NFL restrictions ), and you will see that the defensive player outstretched his hand really far, and barely touched Mahomes, but it was all a matter of balance and physics that made it look worse than it was. I have seen worse touches out of bounds that never got called.. If Mahomes wasn't' limping around this may not have been called. All we will hear for the next 2 weeks is how "masterful", and how much of a "trooper" Mahomes was playing with an ankle and a half. I won't be watching any highlights or superbowl discussion for the next 2 weeks. ZERO.

This map shows the town just to my north getting snow. I will hang out in a park in that town for the day, while relaxing in a lawn chair, wearing a banana hammock, Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirt, and Olukai beach sandals... eating corn dogs and drinking Busch light. I refuse to be shut out of this opportunity.
