Looks like snow showers all day Sunday per GFS. CMC to me looks aggressive with the cold and snow. Also aggressive with the front end snow Tuesday.

Hoo boy if this verifies. I doubt it but...

Looking ahead. Next Tuesday the low is pushed east from Illinois into Ohio which looks like a front end thump for some. Fantasy land has a MLK crusher. Snow for days!

Looks like an I-81 crush job so far. I know there's a way to go with this. That mix line is so close to 1-95 it's not funny. Hey all things considered; we'll take 2-4'' of mix slop now if it sets up for something better in a week. Speaking of which CMC comes in with more of a front end thump for the next storm FWIW

I'm just as angry as any other Eagles fan right now so i'll say enjoy the snow while it lasts as the next system melts it all away.

So bored I went back and re-read the January 2016 Blizzard thread to remind myself what it was like on here in the Winter.

Would rather have a torch winter and low humidity than whats going on at this point. 49 and mist here.

What I find interesting is that wile the monster snow storms are fun to track and be a part of, (and I think someone already mentioned this) is that we don't have a legit winter of just clippers bringing the 2 inches of snow and cold hanging around. We get the cold and snow shot but then its all gone within 5-7 days and we're back in the 40's. At this point weenies (like me) would rather have this than stare at 300+hr monster model runs. I am happy there is something to track next week next week, but if it dosen't verify, no biggie. I'm certainly not cancelling winter by any means yet though. Long way to go here. Again the key is patience.

Had a dusting on the cars , and the roads were slightly wet from our snow shower. 34 degrees. Depending on what forum you pay attention to, Winter is coming at the New Year.

Shame that Sundays storm doesn't have the cold air. Looks like the exact same track as the 1993 storm.
