    Crazy how Exton got quite a bit of rain last night and West Chester just 5 miles away got hardly anything. Some Lee ensembles are ticking west. Something to keep an eye on for next week. We should have a clue by 18Z Monday.

    GFS says get your sandbags, generators and chainsaws. Euro says enjoy the high waves and sunny skies. Both models have it as one hell of a storm though.

    Long range says 90's done by this time next week, and Summer over. Fantasycast has a hurricane (Margo?) crawling up to OBX betwen the 15th-17th. Could not ask for more beautiful weather now though. 75 and sunny! Enjoy it!

    Bryce Shelton has a pretty good live cam going. He almost got caught between two tress that fell. He's just south of Perry now.

    Tornado Warning for Sullivan and Bradford Counties. The line is literally over my place up there. Hoping it's just radar warned and not a touchdown.

    Had a legit monsoon roll through Exton last night about 6-6:30. Guessing we got a solid 1 1/2 " of rain in less than an hour. Everythng filled up fast.

    Without checking data. I believe last time we really had a cooler/ wet summer it was followed by a dry fall, then stormy Winter (2009/10)

    Question. When does NWS come out to do damage assesment for a possible tornado? Do they get called, or do they go off what was on radar at that time? Lot of us here in Exton are pretty sure a tornado touched down Monday night. About 2 miles of damage in a consolodated area. Guessing a EF-0 or 1. Don't think it was a straight line cause the trees are twisted in different directions.

    We got blasted last night. Had to be close to 3" of rain here. Exton looks like a war zone. Manholes missing on Pottstown Pike near 30. Saw two trees down on the off ramps. Non stop thunder, lightning, and rain from 10PM-4AM. Congratulations to those who picked up more than 2.... hours of sleep last night!

    Played two softball games over the weekend it was like playing in a desert. Mowed the grass after 10 days and was basicaly the same. Looks like about the 10th-12th for the next legit shot at some rain here. Yikes.

    I had a descrambler box. Paid $300 for it. Figured thats about 6-7 PPV's and it was paid off. Had two "Filters" to get Showtime, and Cinimax. Once everything went digital about 2002 that was all she wrote for that stuff.

    We had Prism to watch the Phillies, Sixers and Flyers. My one buddy had HBO and we would wach all the "premier" movies at his house.

    Looking like a super soaker event Beginning Thursday. *sigh* We usually spend the weekend camping for the race in Dover. We cancelled this year after looking at the forecast. Was not looking forward to rain, wind and 50 degrees for 4 days straight.

    I would bet the house on this. I am heading to Dover for race weekend and we are camping so I expect it to be cold and miserable as it was last year.
