  1. Missed it by a degree yesterday. Today; however, is going to be toasty on the tarmac. 88 @ noon time....we might hit 93 or 94. (still dry though)
  2. Looks like I'll be watering the garden first thing in the morning. About .01" of rain today. The usual SE CT Fizzle.....
  3. So far east of the river is a shut out in CT. Will wait to see what happens when the front gets closer. FINALLY....got some humidity down here, but still not hot. 84/77.
  4. Got em' here too. Just about decimated my Crab Apple tree.
  5. This normal summer warmth feels great. Still waiting for the dews that have been promised for weeks by some. 85/61 45% humidity.
  6. Can hear thunder all around. To the east and southwest. Not a drop of rain here so far.
  7. Agreed, looks like SE CT won't see much, if anything from this. On the other hand it's a beautiful day outside.
  8. Heating up and drying out again today. 85/59 at IJD currently. Not a dew in sight. I suppose I'll install this evening. Still not convinced I'll need to turn them on though.
  9. Excellent COC - 87/56 yesterday. Fantastic 59 overnight for a great sleep. Still haven't installed. Might have to do it today.
  10. lol....a gif that only shows 30 minutes from this morning. Cherry. Picked.
  11. Pretty unusual for this time of year. KGON is warmer than KIJD at this time in the day. 83 vs 81. Nice north wind keeping it warm at GON. Ledge Light in the mouth of the Thames River is only 66.
  12. Well this is no way to run a 90 degree humid day. 61 at KGON and 57 KIJD at 1pm. The current 70 degree NWS forecast might even fail at this rate.
  13. Don't really care about snow. Was just hoping it might get cold enough to kill off the current black fly population. Unfortunately latest trends don't seem to get there.
  14. Was just looking at the same satellite image and thinking the same. Socked in for another day so far.
  15. 2nd batch of heavy rain today. 48 degrees.
  16. Drizzle/mist down here all night and no sun in sight.
  17. Wow...I figured I'd only get a half in of slush. Have a 1/4" of frozen crust with 2.5" of powder on top; down here close to the shore. Still snowing lightly.
  18. Couple of rumbles of thunder with that little cell that popped in SE CT.
  19. 8" total. A decent amount of compaction with the sleet we had.
  20. They started warning down here at 1pm when we were blue skies and 40. Cirrus just starting to creep in now.
  21. Anyone have an idea why Upton has the Winter Storm Warning in effect already for this area? Still blue sky, full sunshine and 40 degrees here. Radar is still showing precip back in PA. I could see a Watch until 6pm or so and then change to Warning.
  22. Sun is out but it's still snowing. 3" total for here.
