0.0" Rain all around but a big ol' zero here.

.60" from the 20 minute deluge and lightning show last night plus .01" from a stray shower earlier in the day. .61" on the day and now up to 3.66" mtd. A good start at breaking Stein's back.

Interesting looking storm passing through East Haddam now. On the way Salem....

10.5 miles as the crow flies to LI Sound and I can hear that storm. Just constant rumbles of thunder from it.

Sun popped out briefly right around 4pm. Nice walk in the woods after the rain stopped. Love listening to the big drops as the trees shed the water. 2.44" on the day. Fantastic.

Puking rain for the past 15 minutes. If this lets up, I'll go out and check the bucket...I'm guessing 2" so far...

With yesterdays rains I'm at 0.61" mtd. Hopefully we get some more on Monday. Have no desire to be the "jackpot" for STEIN. May 2.25" June 0.22" July 1.03" August 0.61"

Still an occasional rain drop coming down, but I'd say we're done for accumulations for today. A whopping .21" of rain over 4 hours. Stein still laughing at us.

Light to occasionally moderate rain for 2.5+ hours now. Just what the doctor ordered. Now let's see if we can get more rain in the next week or if it's going to be 15 days before the next drops fall here.

So excited. Another .01" overnight. A couple green and yellow pixels right over the house.

Got some video of that same storm looking up from the south in Waterford.

A grand total of .12" today. .10" in 5 minutes during the first shower. Only a trace the other 2 times it rained today.

Not many times in the year that you can say tracking dews and rain showers is special.

And it's pouring rain now. Was 92/76 will be interesting to see how much the temp comes down....won't last long as I can already see blue sky behind this heavy shower.

Tropical steam bath outside. 77/76 imby. Still 81/73 at HFD and BDL, gonna be a scorcher for sure. Looks like I added to my totals overnight with another .01"
