  1. Just missed setting a new 'cool max' here, 38.7 was the high, record is 38.5 from 2013.

  10. Just flipped to a wet snow here in last 5 minutes, 34.4/31.7, same as EC above, about 13 degree drop in last 2 hours
  11. My report for February 2022 Total precip was 2.47 inches vs a normal of 2.67 inches, a -0.20 below average. There were 11 days with measurable, 2 days with a 'T' and 15 dry days. The wettest day was on the 4th with 0.85 falling. Total snowfall for the month was 1.2 inches vs a normal of 5.9 inches, a -4.7 below average. the snowiest day was the 13th with 1.0 inch falling. There were two days with measurable, 3 days with a 'T' and 24 with no snow falling. Only one day with snow cover, 1.0 inch on 13th, 3 with a 'T'. The averaged high temp was 48.2 degrees vs a normal of 46.0 degrees, a +2.2 above the average. The warmest day was the 24th with a 66.9 degree reading. The averaged low was 24.5 degrees vs a normal of 24.0 degrees, a +0.5 above average. the coldest temp recorded was 12.8 degrees on the 15th. The overall averaged temp was 36.3 degrees vs a normal of 35.0 degrees, a +1.3 above the average. The highest wind recorded was 37 mph on the 20th. No new records set during the month. Overall, a slightly drier, less snowy and warmer than average month with plenty of wind, recorded 11 days with winds above 25mph.

  21. Sun is starting to lighten the sky thru the clouds here. We be done after 4-5 hours of intermittent very light snow, never more than a coating on everything. Finally broke above freezing at 33.2/29.0.
  22. Nothing spectacular, but I have flurries and a few sleet pellets falling in last hour and currently 26.2/22.4. So definitely a bit further west than even the models showing.... I'm 15 miles off WV line.
  23. Although not a giant storm (10"), the 10/10/79 storm cemented my love of snow and weather in general due to the 'surprise' factor and damage caused. Been keeping records since that day.
