The tic between 12z and 18z pretty sizeable. The whole operation is more sheared, with the trough more positively tilted, we need one more like that...or does that make the damn thing too weak to draw the cold air? No winning this year.

What year was the tuck-rule game? I believe that was our only accumulating snow in SWCT. A major rat winter.

I recall two 3" sleet storms that year. And I'll tell you, 3" of sleet is as much of a winter driving/shoveling problem as 12" of snow...maybe more so!

It's funny, but one of my closest friends growing up had grandparents in Webster. I learned some good Yiddish from them. One phrase in particular sticks in my mind...I will probably butcher this, but....."halt deinen mund du Trottl du!"

Sitting in the spectator seats...this was a hell of a storm on satellite and radar. Looking out the window probably ruined it.
