    This is not researched by me...but it seems like the Aussies have had the best handle on MJO this winter. They have it circling the drain just slightly on the good side of the COD. At least the MJO state should not be an inhibitor as we move later into February. My target date for the blizzard of 23 remains 2/28.

    GFS looks whacky. The first storm heads through Detroit towards Buffalo, while the second forms over Davenport? I suppose there is a jet entrance there, but we have a ways to go before we throw in the towel. I would think a development much further to the south is possible. At least we have a Rockies Ridge and eastern trough going for us.

    I had a great satellite pic of LI Sound. We were about two days from a solid freeze over. I will try to find it....maybe on my work computer.
