  3. exactly. My friends lives near Van Dorn area of Springfield and I lived in the burg, he would be 33 and rain and it would be puking snow in Leesburg, I loved it there.
  4. I know, I moved here from Leesburg, LOL. But we had a helluva run in the DMV from 2009-2016. More than doubled what Dulles's average is some seasons. I enjoyed winter there iun Leesburg, I actually miss it there
  5. Again though it is North Carolina. Snow isnt common and ice isnt common every year. That is what I am saying. If someone is a snow lover this isnt the place to be, thats for sure. No one can control mother nature, it will do what it wants. but to me, it is funny at times when people complain they arent getting any snow/ice here.
  6. 4" isnt a lot. I know to the true NC residents it is, but it is rare to get 4-6" a year in Raleigh area. If I were from here I wouldnt expect a few inches of snow each year. Its tough to get that every year here
  7. This is North Carolina outside of the mountains. Snow is a rarity.
  8. My car has a cassette player...so cool
  9. All the models have nothing for us in the snowfall category, UKIE, Euro, GFS, all look like dogs&8t
  10. Im off 540 and 40 and had not one flake here
  11. Colder air in place now. No precip here today, but saw mPing reports showing snow to my West, North and East. Go figure. Currently 42* and OVC skies
  12. Rain stopped few hours ago, got .22 in the bucket. Fog is pretty bad along 40/85 through alamance and guilford counties tonite
  13. In the Northeast I would pick Pulaski, NY or Redfield, NY. Amazing LES and nice summers In the mid atlantic I would pick the Davis/Thomas, WV area. Epic LES they do well in Miller A/B systems and cooler summers In the Southeast, I would only move to Banner Elk, NC for snow and cooler less humid summers. Out west, Dillon, CO is where I would go. Lots of snow, epic mountains and nice summers in the high elevation. You are right below Loveland Pass Or In the Cascades of Washington state where they get dumped on with snow
  14. Sounds like we could use a few of these in here
  15. Snowfall totals from GSP and RNK NWS
