  1. Not that bad and for what you get its worth it
  2. I was using wxmodels and pivotal but I broke down few weeks ago and got wxbell. Like Jerms said, they do offer a lot more in detail
  3. I think it is from snowfall reports sent into tjhe local NWS office. Plus the mountains you wont get exactly spot on as there are so many different variants that can cause snowfall to be different from mile to mile
  4. Cant ask for anything more, that set up is spot on
  5. You were around when this was the plows used huh?
  6. Yeah Mendham has 27" so far. As for here, LOL I dont trust anything unless we are locked in with cold air and the pattern is ripe. Raleigh is an unusual place for snow lol
  7. Dude you know better how it works here lol
  8. I just saw the pics you sent me too the other day and I cant find them unless they were on my FB Page. Those were cool with the snow on the palm trees there
  9. Just saw Chester in Western Morris County at 24.8" as of 330pm. I saw on Channel 7 in NY a 27" report I think it was out by Stanhope. Crazy.
  10. A good friend of mine in Randolph has 19" already
  11. I remember you saying that so you know what Im talking about. W.M always did great with coastal lows like this.
  12. Oh how I miss NJ. I never thought I would say since I left in 1999. But storms like these make me miss it and makes it all worth it. I grew up and lived right below the first 2 under Sussex.
  13. Picked up 1.10" rain here since midnight. Yesterday was over an inch too. Good rainfall. We can do rainfall here
  14. Not sure if we got snow, sleet or rain, the ground is damp and it was 36* when the precip was falling. It is tough to tell in these LED streetlamps. I miss the old orange color ones, easier to tell. But we were on the southern end of the band of precip that moved through anyway so it wasnt going to amount to anything here Off to shut eye land 36/26 OVC
  15. OVC skies here 38/21 currently
  16. Yeah thats for sure, good for them, They havent seen jack since I left in summer 2016. This should make them happy

  19. Good luck to you guys west and north.
  20. Yeah western Loudoun is beautiful. Loved being close to the AT and Harpers Ferry and western Md and well you get the idea lol. It is an expensive area though thats for sure and the commuting costs were crazy with me working in Crystal City and my wife in Tyson's
  21. Nice, I moved here from Leesburg. I love that town and area. It is always good for the big storms too. Just enough elevation and far enough away from I 95 and the heat island of DC.
