  1. Sleet mixing in here as well. Dang was hoping to hold on to at least noon. Still have snow mixing in though. Call it 7 inches before the changeover.
  2. I'm in between Martinsburg and Hagerstown, but closer to Hagerstown. Still all snow here. Right around 6" so far.
  3. Topped out between 15 - 16 degrees today, 3 under forecasted. Dew point still hanging around -4 to -5 degrees. Now back to 14.9 degrees.
  4. We do, but not usually this far ahead. Mitchnick's radar seems to have virga breaking out in the WV panhandle.
  5. You can see some snow coming down on the traffic cams. US 460 & US 52 in Southern WV. Traffic Cameras
  6. Balmy 14.9 degrees / dp of -3.5, a few miles southwest of Hagerstown. Was forecasted to hit a high of 19, not sure we are going to get there.
  7. Depends on where in Alaska you live. I was a kid/early teen in the Southeast panhandle and winters were not bad at all. It was cold, but not that bad. This stuff coming up is much worse that what we got on the coast.
  8. Sad thing is this would be our biggest snow of the season so far.
  9. Nice little snow squall hit us out the valley. Nothing really to show from it though, ground too warm and wet from yesterday. Pretty though.
  10. I'm trying to wrap my head around being at 32 - 34 in Hagerstown while Cumberland & Keyser WV is at almost 60 hahah.
  11. Driving from Hagerstown to Frederick, lots of ice on the trees up on South Mountain. Major roads were fine though.
  12. @Eskimo Joe Yep, I'm about a mile or so west of I-81 and we have switched back into a mix.
  13. 26.6 / 21 here a bit southwest of Hagerstown, skies still clear for the moment.

  15. This just in from Frederick...heavy rain...now light rain...now heavy rain....now light rain...
  16. Well, luckily it was pretty bad at the forecast for this one.
  17. In Frederick at work and we have had on and off heavy rain since around 8:30AM. At least 5 rumbles of thunder as well. Very nice over perform from the showers forecasted.
  18. Uh, you have any lottery numbers you like for us Hagerstown/Frederick peeps?
  19. Storm that rolled thru Hagerstown dropped the temp at home from 95 down to 72. Too bad the humidity is now off the charts.

  21. That severe storm in Northern Frederick County keeps growing. NWS gonna need a bigger box....
  22. Storm missed the home, slide to the south, but close enough to drop the temp from 97 to 81. I'll take it!
  23. Westminster (MD Mesonet) Looks like it dropped them back almost to 80. Nice!!!
  24. My eyes might be playing tricks on me, but I think I see a gust front on the radar in the last couple of frames. Fingers crossed it triggers some more storms.
