Debated if this is banter or obs, but it's wild to me that about 2 weeks after the storm you can still look at the Maryland Highway traffic cameras and see snow on the ground for most of the state. That does not happen very often here.
Depends on where in Alaska you live. I was a kid/early teen in the Southeast panhandle and winters were not bad at all. It was cold, but not that bad. This stuff coming up is much worse that what we got on the coast.
In Frederick at work and we have had on and off heavy rain since around 8:30AM. At least 5 rumbles of thunder as well. Very nice over perform from the showers forecasted.
