When I was a kid listening for school closings on potential snow days (which were far more rare despite some great snow years in the mid to late 1950s), I always heard Metuchen schools but missed Teaneck. The alternative way was a firehouse siren.

Gfs eastern goalpost. Euro actually is a nice middle ground and fairly consistent past few days. Nice light to moderate event.

It’s odd that all the ops remain steadfast with a middling event. The ensembles are minimal to unrecognizable. Guess we’ll see.
