I’ve been in 3 60mph+ gusts torrential sheets of rain thunderstorms already. Dont have typical summer outlook this year but I think well below average number of 90 days like 25 even though overall temp average about 0.5 of normal Tropics busy will go with 16 named but just 7 hurricanes 2 of which major.

March trying hard

Down to about 2.5 now but trees still really nice. I got the bonanza of 11.5” from the long duration event. So many got so much less; however it’s been a good snowfall winter right here.
-
When I shoveled at 3pm the slush on the bottom came up easy. Now it’s icy on the bottom and that not the ground radiating out. 31.8 here.

The high is shoving things due east to ese. Lower pressure isobars are stacked along the mountains but not making much progress and until and unless that high eases to about 30.10 then we won’t see anything other than very light.
-
It frazzles a few but the 30.60 High is going to always have some form of adverse effect. Cold enough it surely is but usually suppressive or introducing dry air as part of its strength. Tried to share this but got some Old Howard’s Almanac chirping so carry on.

1pm obs Very light snow, 5” accum, 30F

High is hanging back west which is not allowing much north move but will serve us later. Is the warm tongue between 700-825 because it not going to be between 500-700.
